Brownie Sundae

Today was one of my co-worker's birthdays and I attempt to bake for everyone who sits near me when it is there special day.  I had just made 4 dozen cupcakes for Cinco de Mayo so I was thinking of straying from that route when I saw a photo of a cupcake sundae.  What says "happy birthday" more than frosting with rainbow sprinkles and a cherry on top??


They were a huge success and would make a great treat for any birthday, especially kids!

The cake part was actually a brownie.  The brownie was then topped with two different frostings.  The "ice cream" is a vanilla buttercream (I can't give away my secrets by telling you how I got it to look so much like ice cream!) and the "whipped cream" is actually a whipped cream frosting.  Then, a sundae wouldn't be complete with either hot fudge or caramel, rainbow sprinkles, and a cherry on top.  Too cute!

Don't forget to get your orders in for all the summer festivities... Memorial Day, Graduation, July 4th, Father's Day, etc.!  Wouldn't these look so cute at your next BBQ?
